Nil Yalter, Exile is A Hard Job: Walls
The book Exile is a Hard Job: Walls is published in 2024 and it focuses on Nil Yalter’s ongoing public space intervention which concentrates on immigration. It includes various processes involved in this project, which spreads across 19 cities over 12 years with the collaborations of art institutions around the world. We thought of this book as a archival dossier and divided in two parts. The first part includes testimonials from the curators of each city so the reader can familiarize the project and the second parts includes all the production photos which took in twelve different cities.
